J1 fitted, will be changing the actual filter for a K&N

People have said the j1 does not performe as well as the k&n so I have the best of both worlds... A good setup and a good

Right after 4 hours of hell, sliced hands etc I have managed to fit yes
Just one coolant hose
To cut a long storey short the one I managed to fit was easy but... The clip that was holding it in place snapped so spent 4 hours trying to pri it of.
I have found where I need to change the other hoses but yes the alternator does need to come of. Unfortuanlty I attempted this but gave up as I knew it would be hassle getting it back on... One problem with it though it I can't get one of the bolts back in

. The other 2 are keeping it secure for now but going to have the rest done by the garage. Does anyone know where I can find where to put this hose

I was right about the alternator then, think I'll be booking mine into a garage to get them fitted!! I was wondering about that small hose myself, when I get a chance I'll have a look and see if I can spot it and let you know.

Yeah it can be done if you have small hands and have a good tool to remove the clip but you can't see anything so worth taking off
