Out with the old....
...and in with the New!
Problems:
- - 1. Didn't know how I would get the AirFlow Sensor into the new housing. Had to peel back the rubber seal from the Heat Shield/Black Housing and take off the Black Electricians Tape wrapped round the wires in order for the sensor to reach.
- - 2. Rock hard to keep a hold of the Screw and the Screwdriver to put the screws back into the sensors metal bracket. (I actually dropped one and couldn't find it in the engine bay

Looks good.
Any noticable difference? Or just more noise?

I love this ^
Looks great! I definitely put the K&N on my last car purely for noise

I only drove to the gym and back, but I am happy with it.
It isn't ridiculously loud driving normally, but when you get past 3,000rpm, it starts to really shout!
Its the right sort of noise if you are just ticking over at just over 1,000rpm on a cold start you can't tell.
If you don't give it full throttle you can't really tell either, when you put your foot right down you can't half tell. Its like it knows when you want it to make a noise.
Its like your throttle is a volume limiter.
Hope that made sense, because I was a bit nervous about investing in it.
I'll get a video or something up soon.

Ben - That's exactly why I did invest, because I had a go in a 1.25 Zetec when mine was getting serviced and it sounded almost exactly the same, if it looks the part it has to sound it!
Its supposed to give an extra 2-3mpg and 5bhp, but I wasn't too fussed with that.
I think its worth the £100 more than the K&N because of the quality.

I'll keep you posted on fuel and noise and all that.
I get about 290-320miles before the fuel light comes on, then I brim it.
